Public radio listeners love Tales from the South and with good reason-- they're true stories from the very Southerners who lived them.

This Thursday (Jan. 31), Civil Rights figure and author Simeon Wright will be the featured storyteller for a very special Tales from the South "Tin Roof Project."

UALR Public Radio, The Arkansas Educational Television Network (AETN), and William F. Laman Library invite the public to a free advance screening of “The Powerbroker: Whitney Young’s Fight for Civil Rights” as part of Community Cinema Tuesday, Feb. 5, at 6:30 p.m.
