The Little Rock Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, and the Delta Presents Outreach Foundation are sponsoring the 45th annual Delta Presents program to award $30,000 in scholarships to outstanding African-American male high school seniors in the Greater Little Rock area. Thirty-eight young men will walk the red carpet on Sunday, April 29, 2018, at 5 p.m. at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Performing Arts Theatre, 2801 S. University Ave. in Little Rock, Arkansas. The theme for the event is "Celebrating the Past: Stepping into the Future." Since 1973, more than 1,700 students have participated in the annual program. Delta Presents is the sorority’s signature event to honor African-American male high school seniors for outstanding achievements in their schools, churches and communities. The honorees participate in a process that includes educational, personal, social and leadership development activities, which culminate with the scholarship recognition program.
