Little Rock Mayor Mark Stodola, Arkansas Symphony Orchestra Music Director Phillip Mann and President and CEO of Celebrity Attractions Ed Payton took part in the event.</p><p>Payton said renovations would bring larger Broadway productions and make load-ins for equipment much easier and less dangerous.</p> Tue, 03 Dec 2013 21:28:03 +0000 Sheila Clark 15481 at Early Voting Begins On Proposal To Renovate Robinson Auditorium Preparing To House Homeles As Temperatures Dip Into Mid-20s <p>With temperatures dipping into the mid-20s in Little Rock on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, The Salvation Army is preparing for a larger than normal group seeking shelter.</p><p>The organization has a 69-bed shelter located at 1111 West Markham that will be open, as conditions can be very dangerous for someone who has to sleep outside.</p><p>Salvation Army Spokeswoman Kathy Barbeire says the shelter accepts people on a first come, first serve basis.</p><p>She says there are people who sleep in a homeless camp a few blocks away from the shelter.
