The Little Rock Zoo has a new baby penguin. An announcement Tuesday said that an African penguin named Bugsy hatched on Oct. 24 and is growing strong.
The zoo says Bugsy is the second African penguin chick it's hatched. The first chick, Gilligan, hatched last year and can be seen at the zoo's penguin habitat. Both Gilligan and Bugsy were hatched at the recommendation of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums Species Survival Plan for the African penguin.
