2 More Suspects Charged In Shooting Of Arkansas Couple

Arkansas prosecutors have charged two more teenagers in connection with the shooting deaths of their friend's grandparents.

Faulkner County prosecutors filed first-degree murder charges Thursday against Conner Atchley and Anastasia Roberts, who are both 17. Both are charged as adults.

Investigators say Atchley and Roberts were present when Robert and Patricia Cogdell were fatally shot in their Conway home in July.

Prosecutors have already charged 14-year-old Justin Staton, whom the couple raised as their grandson, and his friend, 18-year-old Hunter Drexler, with capital murder. Investigators allege they robbed and shot the couple, then dumped their bodies in a wooded area behind their home.

Staton and Drexler have pleaded not guilty.

Prosecutors also filed charges on Thursday against Staton's mother, Michelle Staton. She's charged with hindering apprehension.
