Faulkner County authorities are searching for three inmates who have escaped from the county jail.
Sheriff Andy Shock told reporters that 27-year-old Jonathan Jackson, 27-year-old Joel Vermillion Jr. and 41-year-old Stacy Ray Wilson escaped shortly after 2 p.m. Saturday through a fence in the jail's recreation yard. Shock said the three then stole a car from a business near the jail and fled.
The sheriff's office website shows that Wilson was being held on burglary and drug charges and that Jackson and Vermillion were being held on drug charges.
