Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson is among a group of Republican governors planning to meet with presumptive presidential nominee Donald Trump.
Hutchinson has been highly critical of Trump in the past, but has maintained he would support his party’s eventual nominee.
Spokesman J.R. Davis said Tuesday that Hutchinson will meet with the presumptive nominee in New York, but couldn’t say they planned to discuss.
Hutchinson had initially backed former Governor Mike Huckabee and later Florida Sen. Marco Rubio in the presidential campaign.
Recently Hutchinson has criticized some of Trump's suggestion that a federal judge is not qualified to preside over a case involving Trump University because of his Mexican heritage.
