A lawyer says a hearing has been scheduled in the case of six death row inmates who want the Arkansas Department of Correction to provide documents about lethal injection drugs.
Attorney Jeff Rosenzweig said Wednesday that a hearing is scheduled for Monday morning in Pulaski County.
Rosenzweig filed paperwork this week asking a court to order the correction department to release the records under the Freedom of Information Act.
The inmates are seeking documents containing information about the origin, history and quality of lethal injection drugs.
Rosenzweig's petition says a correction department spokeswoman responded to the public records request by saying the department didn't have any new information to release under the lethal injection law.
The attorney general's office is representing the correction department. A spokesman declined to comment.
