Inmate Again Escapes From Western Arkansas Jail

Authorities say an inmate at the Logan County jail has escaped the facility for the second time in less than four months.

The Logan County Sheriff's Office says 49-year-old Gary Patrick Topham was reported missing Tuesday morning from his cell at the county jail in Paris.

Topham last escaped the county jail in November by climbing over a chain-link fence. He was discovered three days later in Booneville.

Topham was being held on charges of failure to appear, fleeing, manufacturing methamphetamine or cocaine and possession of a controlled substance.

The sheriff's office says Topham is a white man standing about 6 feet tall and weighing about 165 pounds. He has brown hair, brown eyes and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing his black-and-white jail uniform and orange sandals.
