KATV, Channel 7 News

Little Rock police say one of their officers was involved in a shooting late Wednesday morning on the southside of the city. Police say the officer wasn't injured.

According to LRPD spokesman Steve McClanahan, officers were responding to a burglary call at a home on Applegate Court when they encountered three suspects. Shots were fired, but it is not known at this time who fired at whom.

Two suspects were taken into custody, but one suspect is currently at-large. Police say the suspect they are searching for is a black male who was wearing a blue hoodie and camouflage pants.

According to Little Rock police, they have recovered one weapon from the scene. Investigators say a stolen gray Jeep from Conway was used by the suspect and was also recovered at the scene of the shooting.

The owner of the home tells Channel 7 News the back door of her house was kicked in. Police are not letting her inside the house at this time.
