Man Being Chased By Little Rock Police Runs Into Daycare

Police in Little Rock say a man who crashed his vehicle while being pursued by officers ran into a daycare center and was later arrested.

No injuries are reported.

Lt. Sidney Allen says the incident began shortly after 11 a.m. Friday when the man crashed the vehicle and ran in to Full Potential Daycare near Interstate 30 in south Little Rock. Allen says the man ran into an unoccupied portion of the daycare that is separated from the daycare area because of construction and that the man had no contact with children or staff.

Allen says the daycare went into lockdown and the man and a woman who remained in the crashed vehicle were eventually arrested.

The names of the two and potential charges against them were not immediately released.
