Little Rock police say no one was injured after shots were fired in the busy River Market district downtown.

Lt. Sidney Allen says a large group of teenagers was escorted out of the River Market Amphitheater on Wednesday night during the outdoor Movies in the Park event, where "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" was being shown.

Allen says that shots were fired once the group reached Clinton Avenue, and several people ran in different directions. No one was hit by the gunfire.

Authorities say one teenager was briefly handcuffed and patted down, but no weapon was found. No arrests have been made.

In a statement, Lt. Allen said:

The Little Rock Police Department had already increased its’ police presence in the River Market area on Wednesday, June 25, 2014. It is our goal to provide a safe, enjoyable atmosphere for all visitors to the park. We are talking with all entities associated with Movies in the Park to formulate better security strategies for this event. No arrest has been made in association with this incident, but we are investigating ways to identify the suspect(s).
