Polls are open for Arkansas voters to cast ballots in a handful of primary runoff contests. Polling locations will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The only statewide race on the ballot is the Republican runoff for attorney general between Leslie Rutledge and David Sterling. The winner will face Democratic state Rep. Nate Steel and Libertarian nominee Aaron Cash in November.

A light turnout is likely Tuesday, with about 3 or 4 percent of the state's 1.6 million registered voters expected to cast ballots.

The other high-profile contest is a GOP runoff for a state Senate seat in north Arkansas. Scott Flippo and state Rep. John Burris are both vying for their party's nomination.

Tuesday's election also features a Democratic runoff for a southeast Arkansas House seat.
