Richard Sher, Host Of "Says You!," Dies At Age 66

Richard Sher, creator, executive producer, and host of the public radio quiz show Says You!, died on Feb. 9 after a battle with cancer. Sher was 66.

Says You! airs Saturdays at noon on KUAR. The station recently began airing the expanded one hour version of the show, after broadcasting a half-hour version since 1998.

Sher is survived by his wife, Laura Price Sher, and his son, Benjamin Payne Sher. Laura Sher is a program producer for Says You!, and she tells WGBH in Boston that the show will continue through the current season, which will end in September 2015. In the coming weeks, she will announce how the show will move forward in future seasons.
