Leslie Rutledge is reporting raising more than twice the amount rival David Sterling has in the final days of their bid for the Republican attorney general nomination. But she's reporting having far less in the bank ahead of next weeks' runoff election.

Rutledge on Tuesday reported raising nearly $59,000 between May 21 and May 31, compared to the $24,750 Sterling reported during the same period. The two Little Rock lawyers are facing off in the June 10 Republican primary runoff for Arkansas attorney general.

Rutledge ended the period with $2,944 cash on hand, compared to the $25,245 Sterling reported having in the bank.

The winner of the runoff will face Democratic state Rep. Nate Steel and Libertarian Aaron Cash in the November election.
