NPR MUSIC PRESENTS SOUTH BY SOUTHWEST MUSIC OPENING NIGHT: DAMON ALBARN, ST. VINCENT, KELIS, AND PERFECT PUSSY

For its lucky seventh trip to South by Southwest Music Conference, NPR Music is bringing to the stage and personal screens everywhere its signature opening-night showcase with another genre blending line-up of stand-out artists: Damon Albarn, St. Vincent, Kelis, and Perfect Pussy. The official showcase happens live at Stubb's on Wednesday, March 12, and kicks off NPR Music's marathon coverage of SXSW 2014, available to Austin-minded audiences at npr.org/music, in NPR Music apps and from public radio station across the country.

NPR MUSIC'S ALT.LATINO PARTICIPATES IN THE INAGURAL YEAR OF SXAMERIAS

The SXAmericas series of events is geared to connect U.S. Latino and Latin American technology, music, and film industry thought leaders. Show hosts Jasmine Garsd and Felix Contreras will DJ the SXAmericas Opening Night Mixer at Brush Square Park on Tuesday, March 11, and will host an intimate chat with French-Chilean rapper Ana Tijoux at the SXSW Convention Center on Thursday, March 13.
