The world premiere of an ethnographic documentary on an indigenous people living in modern Japan is screening in Little Rock Thursday. It's called Have You Heard About The Ainu? Elders of Japan's Indigenous People Speak. KUAR's Chris Hickey recently spoke with University of Arkansas at Little Rock sociology professor, Dr. Kinko Ito, who's behind the film.
The screening will be from 3:30pm to 5:00pm at the UALR Student Services Center - 104 Auditorium. Disclaimer: KUAR is licensed to UALR.
