Garland County Circuit Judge Wade Naramore has been found not guilty of negligent homicide in the hot-car death of his 18-month-old son.
A Garland County jury deliberated for less than two hours Friday before returning with the verdict.
Naramore was charged in February after his son - Thomas - died July 24, 2015, after being left in a hot car for nearly seven hours when Naramore failed to take him to daycare before going to work.
Naramore - occasionally crying - testified that he "lost awareness" his was in the car.
Naramore took a leave of absence after his son's death, then was suspended with pay by the Arkansas Supreme Court after being charged.
He will remain suspended until the Judicial and Discipline and Disability Commission completes an investigation of the case.
