Authorities Find Bodies Of Missing Arkansas Man And Infant

Arkansas officials say search crews have discovered the bodies of a man and his infant son who were reported missing in the Ouachita Mountains late last week.

Yell County Sheriff Bill Gilkey says the body of 10-month-old Harper Floyd was discovered by search crews around 1:30 p.m. The body of the father, 33-year-old Brian Floyd, was discovered about an hour later.

Gilkey said the bodies of both have been transported to the state Crime Laboratory in Little Rock for autopsies.

Search teams had concentrated their work around Blue Mountain Lake in the Ouachita Mountains. The area is about 80 miles west of Little Rock.
