On The Campaign Trail For Senate With Pryor And Cotton

While Election Day is still about 15 months away, the race for Senate in Arkansas already has the tone of a match up heading into the home stretch.

Rep. Tom Cotton last week announced he is running for the Republican nomination and hit the road making campaign stops throughout the state.

Incumbent Democratic Senator Mark Pryor is also stepping his campaign appearances as Congress is in recess.

Roby Brock with Talk Business Arkansas spent two days traveling with two and spoke with KUAR about his efforts to learn more about what makes each person tick.  You can also read his entries while traveling with Cotton the day after making his announcement and Pryor the following day.

Michael Hibblen was a journalist for KUAR News from May 2009 — December 2022. During his final 10 years with the station, he served as News Director. In January 2023, he was hired by Arkansas PBS to become its Senior Producer/ Director of Public Affairs.
