Disaster Recovery Centers In Arkansas To Close After April Tornado

State and federal emergency management officials say disaster recovery centers that were set up following the April 27 severe storms, tornadoes and floods in Arkansas will soon be closed.

The state and Federal Emergency Management Agency recovery centers in Mayflower and Vilonia will close Saturday at 2 p.m.

Survivors of the storms can visit the centers for information form 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. weekdays and from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday. The centers are at 600 Highway 365 in Mayflower and at 1122 Main Street in Vilonia.

The centers bring various state and federal agencies and programs to one location to provide survivors with information about available assistance.
