Former Cotton Spokesman To Lead Americans for Prosperity In Arkansas

David Ray, former communications director for the Tom Cotton Senate campaign and the Republican Party of Arkansas, has been hired as the new state director for Americans for Prosperity’s Arkansas chapter.

“David’s life-long commitment to economic freedom paired with his understanding of the importance of building grass roots make him an excellent addition to the Arkansas team as they fight for state taxpayers,” said Teresa Oelke, former AFP-Arkansas state director and current vice president of state operations for Americans for Prosperity.

AFP-Arkansas’ web site says it has more than 63,000 activists “committed to advancing every individual’s right to economic freedom and opportunity.”

The conservative grassroots group advocates for smaller government, economic freedom and greater individual liberties. The group also actively supports and opposes legislation at the state level.

“I’m excited to join AFP-Arkansas and continue building a a freedom majority in the state as we fight for economic freedom and individual liberty,” said Ray.
