KUAR will host a trivia night on Thursday, August 27, at Damgoode Pies in the River Market in Little Rock. The game begins at 7 p.m.! The event is now sold out, but we will be letting people register at the door on the night of the event if space allows.
Individuals or teams may enter. Pre-registration can still be done through our online form, but since the event is at full capacity your registration is not guaranteed at this point.
This is a fundraiser, so there is a fee to play. The participation fee is $5 per individual; $15 per team of 2-4; $25 per team of 5-8; $30 per team of 8-10. Players of all ages are welcome. Players of all ages will be charged the fee to play.
Employees of UALR Public Radio who were not part of the Q&A Committee may participate in the game and are eligible to win.
The team or individual who places 1st will receive a $75 gift card to Damgoode Pies.
The team or individual who places 2nd will receive a $50 gift card to Damgoode Pies.
The team or individual who places 3rd will receive a $25 gift card to Damgoode Pies.
The gift cards may be applied to the team’s or individual’s bill for the night or used at a later date. And, yes, that includes beer.
The use of technology is strictly prohibited. In other words, you cannot phone a friend and you cannot Google for the answer. Additionally, while we do encourage socializing and teamwork, do not shout out the answer. We know you are excited to actually know the answer but please keep it to yourself or your team. And play nice – don’t shout out the wrong answer in an attempt to be victorious. If you are caught cheating or even thought to be cheating or otherwise impairing the game, you will be disqualified. No, your participation fee will not be refunded.
"Ben Fry the Trivia Guy" is the final authority on all answers and any disputes. We expect this power will go to his head and therefore suggest you keep things friendly so that he isn’t called upon to settle any challenges.
As a participant in KUAR’s Pub Quiz, you agree to release and hold harmless, UALR Public Radio, the Friends of KLRE/KUAR Board of Directors, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, the Board of Trustees of the University of Arkansas, and Damgoode Pies, from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in this event.
