Officials Say Multiple Arrests In Cocaine Ring

Officials say multiple arrests have been made for a cocaine ring that was operating in central Arkansas.

Federal drug officials said Monday the arrests were related to an indictment of 23 people on drug and weapons charges. Officials allege those arrested were involved in the trafficking of hundreds of kilograms of cocaine since 2011 in North Little Rock, Little Rock and Saline County areas.

Between 2012 and 2013, officials say the drug trafficking organization had traded up to 10 kilograms of cocaine per week in Little Rock, valued up to $310,000.

Officials say that during their investigation, they've seized hundreds of thousands in cash, more than 10 kilograms of cocaine, about 11 ounces of crack cocaine, 11 vehicles and 11 firearms.
