A restitution hearing has been scheduled in the case of a former state representative convicted of conspiracy to commit election fraud.
A federal judge filed paperwork Wednesday saying that a hearing is set for April 15 in the case of former Rep. Hudson Hallum, his father and two campaign workers.
The court is expected to hear a claim for restitution from Kim Felker, who lost in a Democratic primary runoff to Hallum.
Hallum pleaded guilty in September, along with his father, who prosecutors said instructed the campaign workers to bribe voters and use absentee ballots to commit fraud.
Rep. Fred Smith won the seat last year after another judge ordered votes not be counted for Hallum.
Hallum's lawyer says they plan to oppose the claim for restitution.
